No, the Knead-it Pad is not a substitution for kneading during nursing and should never be used as a replacement in lieu of their mother.  We recommend waiting at least 12 weeks after the birth of a kitten to introduce the Knead-it Pad.

The Premium Blanket measures 60cm x 50cm (approximately 23.6 inches x 19.7 inches), so it is not human-sized.  Although it accommodates the vast majority of cat sizes and shapes, some large Maine Coons or exceptionally large “gentle giants” might not have full coverage across the blanket.

We tested our products in multi-pet households and small dogs love the coziness of our Portable Lounge Mat and Premium Blanket.  However, please keep in mind that our products are designed for cats and at this time we only offer one size, which is suitable only for smaller dogs. Also, if your dog has a chewing habit, please do not allow them to chew on the portable lounge mat hardware.

Shipping is free on orders of $150 or more within the contiguous US.  For orders $149.99 or less there is a flat rate option of $10.95 for standard ground shipping or $18.95 for express shipping.  For Alaska and Hawaii there is a flat standard ground shipping rate of $15.95.  You can view our full shipping policy here.
